South Dean Cottage is a three bedroom self contained part of the 300+year old farm house of South Dean Farm. Being situated between Comb Martin and Lynton walks can be taken in any direction,( except north as the cliffs are ½ mile away). From them South Wales can be seen across the Bristol Channel. The farm is within the Exmoor national park and surrounded by National Trust land.The rest of the house is our home, which we share with our children Hana 15 and Harvey 9.
The house is surrounded by gardens and has an adjacent paddock in all amounting to approximately 3 acres of land, the majority of which is available to those renting the cottage.
You are welcome to have tea and scones with us on your arrival, before we show you around the cottage. Once settled in you’re on your own to enjoy, what we hope will be a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We are however just next door should you have any problems or want information on the surrounding area.
Kitchen and Bathroom
The kitchen is well equipped with an oil fired Rayburn and fan assisted oven
The bathroom has a cast iron roll top bath with shower and marble top wash basin.
Sitting Room
The sitting room has a magnificent view and is equipped with digital satellite TV (no sky), radio, DVD, and CD players.
Bedrooms
The largest bedroom has a 6’ double bed which can be split into two 3’ singles. The second has two 3’ singles. The third a 4’ double.
